When shifting into reverse or drive, has a bad noisy clanky grinding sound with vibration and does not move?

Makes no noise when in park idling but shifting in reverse or drive has a bad noisy clanky grinding sound with vibration and won't move.

It sounds like the rear end is having a problem, but to be sure have a helper put the truck in drive or reverse while you look under the truck using a flashlight to see if the driveshaft is spinning without the truck moving, this will confirm the problem. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
