Engine will not idle

Trying to find out which wire is hot, white or black on wire on the fuel cutoff solenoid.

Hi,

Because of the model year, my schematics are very limited. The only thing I found was in black and white and doesn't indicate wire color.

What I did is this. If you look below, I attached two basic schematics for the fuel cutoff solenoid. Look at the orientation of the plug to determine which wire goes to ground.

Okay Joe, got it figure out the white is the hot manuka, you're good reminds of somebody. Thank you for the help much appreciated. take care be safe.

The wires are cut, all of it what. I did I join all the wires together run it to the ignition circuit' then ground it.

i took out the fuel cutoff solenoid then watch it when i connect it to the battery, that's how i did it.

forgot sorry the hot is black wire on fuel cutoff solenoid.

Thanks for the update. The only concern is in the event of an accident, the fuel pump won't turn off until the key is off. That could be dangerous.

No it's not kind of inertia switch it's just the FCS and other circuit its not tied in with the fuel pump.
