Transmission will not shift into gear no drive, reverse

I turn on my truck and it starts but won't drive or reverse all of a sudden there is transmission fluid in the truck and when I press the brake the shifter moves easily from park, but the truck will not someone told me a clog is what's could be causing the issue so change filter and flush transmission any other suggestions?

Hi,

When you shift, does the gear indicator show the correct gear? Also, have you scanned the computer for codes? One other question. Does the shifter feel as though it has the same resistance when shifting?
