Will not go in gear

I was driving, and it was like it went into neutral. It will not go in reverse, or drive. But it still rolls in neutral. It was not having any transmission problems prior to this. It does have 204,000 miles but it is all highway miles (which may not matter). But I am a nineteen year old female and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The early versions of that transmission had an issue with the clutches wearing and the material clogging the filter. That can cause the issue you are having. The only real solution for that is to either rebuild it or replace the transmission. I would suggest taking it to a transmission shop and they can drop the pan and test the transmission to verify the problem and give you options as to repair.
