Went to start car and it clicked over and all lights went dead. Replaced battery and it started. But Turned off ignition and was unable to remove key or start car again. Says "service security system". Unhooked battery and reconnected, then was able to start car, ran fine. But once key turns from initial position, locks in and won't release. Shifter does not need brake applied and will move by hand freely. Speedometer and coolant temp meters stopped working. Left it at dealer and could not figure out. Anyone with similiar issues?

Just reset your security system if you replace or disconnect battery it's going to need resetting. See pic
