engine revs up then after a few seconds it will jump in drive and go about a foot then it will not move?

Crank it up, put in drive the engine revs up, then after a few seconds it will jump in drive and go about a foot then won't go anymore.

OMGOSH...this is aggravating us to the max. We cannot find any leeks. put it over cardboard for 2 days and nothing on the cardboard...the lady said she had a man to change fluid in it and he only put back 6 quarts...so we checked it and added 1 more gallon..it finally moved in drive after turning it off then starting it back then putting it in drive...it would go about 5 ft n no more till u turned it off back on n in drive...we did this about 8 times n parked it...also it will not move in reverse at all...any more suggestions ?

If the transmission was run 4 quarts low then it could have burned it up. Can you check the fluid to see if it smells burnt? Also, I would run the codes to see if any transmission related issues are stored. This guide can help:
