Transmission will not shift into first gear

My car won't move when I put it on drive but when I put it on 2nd or 3rd gear, I can drive it. why won't it move on drive? Is it fixable and cheap to fix?

Can I ask if the speedometer is working? It sounds like you have a first gear shift solenoid that is not working. To be sure let's run the codes to see what comes up here is a guide to help and the instructions to change out the shift solenoid in the diagrams below.
