wouldn't go anywhere in any gear ?

I bought this van a couple of days ago and it ran fine the first day shifted just like it should
I drove it about 150 miles or so ran beautiful parked for the night it was a very cold night the next morning I started it up no problem but when I put it in gear it wouldn't go anywhere in any gear then after about ten minutes it drove fine for about ten miles shifted fine and then again wouldn't go anywhere in any gear and that's the way it's been since Help!
