The car was on and driving when the “battery save mode” warning came on. At the time of the warning volts, were showing around 11 while running. After the car was off, about 4 hours later the car was attempted to start. Dash lights, radio, etc, all worked fine but the car wouldn’t crank, wouldn’t turn over. Vehicle was jump started from another vehicle and started immediately. The car drove home for about 10 minutes with volts reading 14.6. After shutdown, volts were 12.4 with the car off. The car wouldn’t crank, wouldn’t turn over. Jump start attempt with a “jump start battery pack” failed. Wouldn’t crank wouldn’t start. Volts still reading 12.4 from the battery. Attempting to start the car with the lights on, and lights did not dim while turning the key. The alternator and battery are only 8 months old. Not sure where to begin with repair.
