Hi,

A single click can be the result of a few things. First, is the battery fully charged and in good condition? Next, are the battery terminals clean and tight?

If that is all good, then we could have a faulty starter motor or internal engine issues. So first, check the battery and let me know what you find. If they are good, we will need to remove the starter and have it bench tested at a parts store. Most do it free of charge.

Let me know what you find as far as the battery itself is concerned. Also, take a look at this link, you may find it helpful:

Take care,
