Engine will not crank

Slight overheating problem someone took apart to check compression after that it wouldn't crank, then oil poured out.

Hi,

Where did the oil leak from? Also, when you say it won't crank, do you mean the starter won't turn the engine, or do you mean it does turn but doesn't start?
