Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

Have you replaced the starter or only the starter solenoid?

Most often times, when you only get a click, there is a bad connection between the battery and the starter. Take a look at this link.

I realize you replaced the battery, but make sure the terminals are clean and tight. Also, make sure the ground between the battery and the engine block is clean and tight.

Next, I want you to check the starter itself. Follow this link to determine if the starter is getting power where it should.

Now, if you have constant 12 volts from the battery to the larger wire on the starter and you have 12 volts to the smaller wire (as discussed in link) when the key is turned to the start position, either the starter is bad or the engine is locked and the starter cannot turn it.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
