Just quit running on the road. When I try to start with key it does not do anything but tried to crank. When I went under car and jumped starter with screwdriver but did not start. It has a new starter and alternator, battery is also good, fuses are good and has gas in it. But will not turn over or make a clinking sound or nothing when try with key. Only tries when I go under it with screwdriver on starter.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros. Com.

Have you checked the starter relay? The starter relay is located in the battery relay box also known as the power distribution box. The relay box is located under the hood in the front center, behind the radiator. I have attached a picture for you to see. The relay you are looking for is number 7. See attached pictures. Picture one is of the relay box format and picture 2 is a legend of what each component does.

Remove the relay and switch it with another relay from the box that has the same part number and see if the starter will engage.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

Welcome back. Have you checked to make sure the main battery/ignition fuses are good? Also, check to see if there is power to the starter relay.

Let me know what you find.
