The vehicle will not come out of park. in addition, the windshield wipers, interior lights, door chime, and power windows will not work. I was told the brake light switch was often responsible for this condition so I replaced it but there was no change. I was also told a bad ground in the right-hand kick pane would do it but that is fine. I cannot find a wiring diagram for this vehicle and I don't know where to look next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I attached a pic of the shift interlock schematic below. There are two 5-amp fuses to check in the central junction box (CJB).

However, those fuses won't explain the other failures. Do me a favor. Check those two fuses. In addition, confirm there is power to them. I have a feeling you will find the fuses good but no power to them.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Once that is confirmed, then I will need to dig into the power distribution schematics and see where the power is coming from.

Let me know. Also, let me know if the brake lights are working.

Joe
