Hi,

I need more information. Are you saying there is no throttle response? For example, you press the throttle and the engine speed doesn't change?

Also, is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? If it does, have you had the computer scanned? Here is a video showing how it's done:

I realize most people don't own a scan tool, but most parts stores will do it free of charge. If you haven't already, do that first and let me know what codes are found.

Let me know as much as you can as far as symptoms. For example, does the engine stall and not restart? Does it rev but the vehicle doesn't move, or anything you can think of.

Take care.

I changed the CVT fluid and filter and now it wont move at all. In park when I press the gas the engine won't rev up at all and sometimes shuts off. If I put it in neutral or drive or reverse it will rev up but won't move. Could it be possible that the filter fell out after I changed it or is the transmission just shot. Could it be a bad sensor? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

John, it is possible the filter wasn't secure. But, I don't understand why it won't rev when in park.

I really feel having the can-bus scanned will help. Based on what you are experiencing, I can't tell if it is an engine issue, a throttle position sensor/APP sensor issue, a transmission issue, and so on. Is it possible for you to have that done?

Let me know.
