Wiring/fuse problem

I went to replace my license plate light and think it shorted out while I was prying out busted bulb. Now the tag lights don’t work with new bulbs and left tail light does not come on with the running lights. Left brake light comes on when you apply brake and left turn signal works also. Just does not come on running and tag lights don’t work.

Hello,

Have you checked the fuses as a start? Sounds like you might have shorted something out when removing old/broken bulb. Here are a few tutorials for you to view to get started:

I've attached a wiring diagram below to check to see if there is a a melted/burnt/loose wire. I would also check the grounds.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi brother Danny. You found a better diagram, and to add to that, I found fuse # 33. The first diagram is the only half I could find, but in the second one, it's the same thing but with the circuit highlighted that shows the left rear tail light and two license lamps are indeed tied together and the right rear tail light is on a different circuit. That agrees with the dandy observation of multiple dead lights.
