I need the wiring diagram for the fuel pump to see if the wires are hooked up right because they were cut and rewired.

Here are the diagrams for the connector and wiring. The black wire is ground, the black with pink tracs is pump power. The gray wire is the fuel sender signal wire and if it's used the last terminal is a green that grounds the fuel sender, on most that is internal. The pump not working or just wondering if they were reversed?

The fuel pump is connected directly to the battery right now, but we don't want to keep it like that. We want to rewire it like it should be.

Okay, find the relays power feed to the pump and test it while you can run the car as it is. It wouldn't be good to rewire it to stock only to discover that there is a problem with the power feed and now you are stuck with a non-running car. So be sure the ground is good and that you have battery power on the black with pink wire first and that it turns on and off with the key. Then wire it up.
