I want to locate the wires responsible for horn output feedback when I lock or unlock my car! Its directly connected to main horn wires and I want to turn off that thing as it can be irritating sometimes.

Hello,

On later Hyundai and KIA vehicles you can hold the lock and unlock button on the key fob together till the indicators blink (about 10 seconds). It will deactivate the beeping horn on unlock and lock. You can try this first

If this does not work you can disconnect the alarm siren, located on the passenger side in the engine compartment, see image below. Item A

A good video:

Thank you for your feedback! I'm aware of both the ways. Some Hyundai cars come with a second indication horn and some cars have the remote feature to turn off the sound but there's this third category in which directly main horn gets signal from BCM.I have checked relays fuses but there no option as the signal comes directly to the main horn relay pin.

Hello,

If the function is internal to the BCM there will be no way to turn this off apart from possible software modification of the BCM.

Okay, so can I know more as I saw a video installing cruise control buttons on i20 elite model and it activated the mode by just installing them! Is there a chance that was real? As i20 2017 model
sold in India doesn't come with cruise control.

Hello,

For specific BCM details it would be better to contact a main dealer as they would have this inside information.
