Will not start, rat chewed fuel injector wire

my cars's fuel injector wire has been pinched off by a rat and it is not connected to the injector which is located at the sets of injector. will this cause the problem of why my car is not being get started.

Hi,

Yes. I would think that is an issue. However, I am not sure it would cause a no start. It would more than likely cause a misfire on that cylinder due to the injector not working. However, due to this being a Fiat the engine controller may shut the engine down if it does not have all the injectors pass a self check.

The other possibility is that there are more wires that have been chewed and you just have not found them yet. However, I would repair this and then retest because it is possible. Thanks
