Winter tires

So I bought four winter tires off a dude that are 50 % worn, the have the exact same code (185 65 r14). I tried them on the car and the lug holes are just off and do not fit. Do you have an idea why the fit is not okay.

Yes, the rims fit a totally different vehicle!

You can take those and yours to a tire shop and have those tires put on your rims!

The tires are the same size!
