Windshield wipers not stopping correctly

When turning wipers off the windshield wipers stop in the center of windshield. They will finish their up or down stroke but always come back and stop in the center.

Hi,

More than likely the wiper arm has stripped or at least moved from its parked position. I would suggest remove the entire wiper arm and then running the wipers so that the gear of the wiper linkage is in the parked position. Then install the wiper arm so that they are in the correct parked position. If they still will not go in the correct location then you will need to run through the test attached which may mean that you have a module problem and it forgot where the parked position is.
