Windshield wiper motor and linkage?

I tried many times to hook up my linkage and motor to my car and when I put the wipers on, they were not going up. When I put them up, they are not resting in the down position.

It is hard to tell what you are talking about, can you upload a short video of the problem? Is the wiper arm not staying down? Or the wiper arm not going to the park position?

Both. I noticed that when you mount the wipers, they go down first. (To the hood). When I mouth the wipers upward. It would park in the upward position.

I see the linkage is timing incorrectly which causes this issue. You may just have the motor arm on upside-down if you can upload some images of the linkage and motor, I can help. In the meantime here are the instructions on how to replace the motor and linkage arms. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
