My windshield wiper blades just started wiping on their own. I can't get them to stop. I have also removed the fuse to it, and it is still going. What else could it be?

Thanks

Hi,

It sounds like you have a short to power. Have you inspected the wiring at the wiper motor? Also, was it fuse 11 in the central junction box under the dash?

If you remove fuse 11, the power must be coming from a different circuit. See pic 1 below just to confirm you removed the correct fuse.

If that was correct, then we may have an issue with the GEM module or a relay issue.

Do me a favor. Under the hood is the battery junction/fuse box. There are two relays related to the wipers. I need you to remove one at a time to see if they turn off and which one turns them off. See pic 2 below.

Let me know.

Joe
