Windscreen washer fuses keeps blowing

Keeps blowing 10amp fuses which was part of the car when a bought it. got repaired under warranty.mechanic said fuse was too small. replaced it with 15 amp fuse. working okay. question is, whether the fuse rating is too high and whether the wiring can take that current without causing a fire?

That is a very important question to ask. The vehicle windscreen washer fuse should be a 10 amp fuse. One shouldn't increase the amperage because it can allow damage to occur. If something shorts, it could allow the wiring to melt and cause a fire.

With that in mind, I recommend only using the correct fuse amperage which was indicated by the manufacturer. See the attached picture. It shows the amperage recommended.
