Hi,
Because of the model year, I don't have specific directions for replacement. However, if it is difficult to turn the crank but it doesn't skip, chances are the regulator simply needs cleaned and lubricated.
What you need to do is remove the door panel. Behind the window handle is a horseshoe-shaped clip that will need to be removed. Remove that and then you will detach the panel from the door. Primarily, the panel is clipped on, but the armrest will need to be unscrewed to remove it.
Once you get the panel off, there will be plastic covering/sealing the door. Carefully remove it so you can reinstall it.
Next, locate the regulator. See pic 1 below. The areas I highlighted clean them really well and lubricate them with something like WD40. The gear area can be lubricated with grease.
Once you clean it, slide the crank back on and work the window up and down so the lubricant can work. Spray it a few more times as needed.
Let me know if this helps.
Take care,
Joe
