Hello there!
I recently bought the car listed above and noticed that the windshield has been scratched by the old wipers. It's not deep but it's really annoying to look at it while driving. Is there a way to fix this at home?
Thank you in advance!

Hi,

That is a good question. I have fixed scratches in the past using headlamp lens restorers. The one in particular that worked best is from Turtle Wax. It provides small pads of sandpaper that are only slightly abrasive. Once you get to the lighted one, you use a polish compound to eliminate any scratches left from the pads.

You could try something like that to see if it helps. The only thing is it also has a product to seal the headlamps. I wouldn't use that on a windshield.

I attached a pic below of what I've used on a side glass. Let me know your thoughts and questions.

Take care,

Joe
