The old one has motor attached to guide by cables. The new one is one piece type with the motor directly attached. Everywhere I searched including the parts supplier indicates I have the right part.
Part No.: 72210-SVA-A02

Hello,

Is your Civic a 2 or 4 door?
For the two door, passenger side window regulator with motor part number is 72210SVAA02 and for four door it is 72210SNAA03.

I have attached the replacement procedure which includes the diagrams of what the regulator should look like for both 2 and 4 door.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Thank you. It turns out I had the wrong year for the car! I guess it's time to get some new glasses and start over.
