Driver's side window does not work

Hi there, I seem to have an issue with my car door. My driver's side door window no longer works. The switch does nothing. I bought a new motor thinking it was that but that did not fix the problem. Also, when I open the door, the car does not register that it is open or closed. I replaced the door control module and that did not fix it. All the other switches work and so does the locking and unlocking switch.

Sounds like you ruled everything out but the wiring and the switch. Even though all the other things on the switch work doesn't mean this switch is not the issue.

Basically, each window works on separate circuits, so we need to check the voltage coming out of the switch for these wires when pressing the buttons.

I am attaching the wiring diagrams below as well that will give the details needed to test this switch.

If the switch is okay, then we need to suspect wiring from the switch to the door motor.

I think the door ajar issue is going to be a different issue but let's start with the window and if the ajar issue is still there after this is fixed, we can get a new post started for that.

Thank you for the reply. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I ordered a switch and installed it and no luck. Window still does nothing. I will look at the wires either today or tomorrow when I have some free time. I will get back with you when I have results. Thanks.
