My car has been a dream come true. I was gone on vacation a week, and now it will not turn over. Tried all the obvious, jump start, nope. Tested the battery, good. Tested the starter relay, good. The wheel on the alternator does spin when you try to crank. All the electrical comes on. Starter clicks. Engine tries to turn over. Almost did. I tried the turn it on, turn it off three times trick. Pretty much at this point, I am running the battery down. I had a float charger on the battery all day (and of course the failed jump start after that). Any other suggestions before I hand the car off to the shop?

Hi and thanks for using 2carpros.com

When you say the starter makes a click, it sounds like the battery is weak. I realize you tried a jump, but have you checked to make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight?

Do me a favor. Read through this link and see if it helps. Also, let me know if the engine is actually turning over when you try starting it. In other words, the starter turns the engine but it fails to start. Also, is it turning it at a normal speed.

Let me know,
