After driving the car the other day the coolant flange on the back of the head exploded sending anti freeze every where. I got the car towed home, replaced the coolant flange and thermostat, refilled the anti freeze and wanted to start the car. The car now will not idele, it spits and sputters then shuts off.
Could the hot anti freeze the blew everywhere have screwed up the coil pack?
I did go back three times already to make sure all wire connections are on.

Start with plugging an OBDII scan tool into the connector visible in the drivers foot well area, read the faults and reply please.

At the mileage indicated, the manufacturer has a recommendation to replace the pre-cat sensors.
I would erase the fault and see what happens first, then replace the sensor(s) if the sensor was affected by the coolant "event"
