will not start, all the dash light blink radio states locked

Found that a squirrel had moved in under fresh air tube to carburetor and battery box,
and chewed through twenty-one of the main harness wires. I'm missing about 6" off each of these wires. Would it be possible to splice wires and repair them or is that a bad idea? The correct mileage is 191,151.

Hello,

You can splice and repair the wires. Make sure to use the same gauge wires while doing the repair.
