Hi,
When you hear the click, can you tell if it is coming from the starter or does it seem as though it may be from the fuse/relay box?
I'm asking because it can be caused by a few different things.
Take a look through this link. It explains how to check a starter for operation. Let me know if it is something you feel comfortable doing or if you have other questions.

Also, make sure the battery terminals are clean, tight, and in good condition.
