will not came out of park but shifter will move

I was driving the truck and it was doing fine stop at a atm and put it in park and it would not go out of park the shifter move it was hard to get out a few times

have it scanned the body module may not be operating the shift interlock check fuse 3 if diesel check fuse 4

also chck for a broken cable it's in two pieces upper and lower either cold be broken
