Hi,
Those are two totally different engines. The 2.5 V6 is a Mitsubishi engine. The 3.5 is domestic. There is nothing the same.
I shouldn't say it can't be done, because anything is possible. However, absolutely everything will need to be changed, transmission, wiring, modules, mounts, vacuum harnesses, and the list goes on and on.
