Hi,
This can be the result of a few things. First, see if it changes if you try starting it in neutral. If there is no change, I need you to check the starter fuse. It is located in the under-hood fuse box. See pic 3 (number 15 fuse below). In addition to checking the fuse, it is important to check if it gets power. It will only have power with the key in the start position, so you will need a helper to check it. (Note: Pics 1 and 2 are the wiring schematic for the circuit. I attached it so you could have a reference.

If the fuse doesn't get power, then I need you to remove the crank relay in the same fuse box (number 55). Switch it with a different one having the same part number and see if the engine will start.
