Coolant has been leaking off and on for some time. First the hoses were replaced and the coolant reservoir. Then they said the radiator was cracked and replaced that. Still leaking so the thermostat was replaced. What next?

Hi,

Have you see the leak? A thermostat won't cause a leak, so unless there was an issue with the housing, I'm not sure what they were hoping for.

Do me a favor. Take a look through this link and let me know if you are able to find the leak:

Let me know. Also, if you are unable to locate the leak, it would be a good idea to pressure test the system. That way, you can take your time when the engine is cold to locate it. You will need a pressure tester, but most parts stores will lend one to you.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Make sure to check around the intake manifold. They are known to leak.

Take care and let me know what you find or if you have questions.

Joe.
