So we had a winter storm a couple day ago and when I turned on my car, it made a weird noise. I then tried again and it did start. So I drove it to work but when I got to work it turned off on me when I was trying to park. I turned it back on to try to park correctly. It turned on after 3 or 4 tries and I parked it and turned it off. An hour later I tried to turn it on because they sent everyone home and it turned on but kept wanting to shut off. However, when I was down the street from my house my car started overheating and it has been doing that ever since. I’m not sure what to do from here. Help please.

It sounds like you are low on coolant. To be sure let's check out these guides to see what you can find:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-overheating-or-running-hot

and

Please run down these guides and report back. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
