Why is 4×4 light on floor shift flashing on and off?

I replaced the front axal actuator and the transfer case 4×4 switch. Now the 4×4 light on the floor switch is flashing on and off. When it's on there is power to the actuator when it's off there's no power to actuator. When driving that's when it is flashing.

I would check the fuses that run the system, (4wd and Illum) in the fuse panel under the dash. Here is a guide to help and the fuse locations, I have also included the 4wd system wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.
