My catalytic converter was so clogged up. There was almost nothing coming out of the tailpipe. I cut off the catalytic converter and now it won’t start. I’ve gotten it to start twice and was able to drive it around. And of course, was very loud. I stopped at home and now I can’t get it started again. Does anyone know why?

Hi,

What was done with the oxygen sensors? They could be causing the powertrain control module (PCM) to run the fuel mixture off far enough to prevent it from starting.

Also, if you have a scan tool, see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes stored.

Let me know.
