I just recently replaced all the lifters and head gasket on passenger side and afterwards I started the truck up and white smoke started coming out of exhaust and my low oil pressure gauge lit up. What is the cause for this? It has never done this
or to replacing lifters and gasket.

Hi,

It sounds like either the head gasket didn't seal or somehow coolant is getting into the combustion chamber.

Have you checked the oil to see if there is evidence of coolant mixing in it?

Do me a favor. Check through this link and see if it helps locate the issue. Once you have, let me know what you found.

Take notice if the coolant level is going down or if you see bubbles in the cooling system. Never open it when hot.

Let me know.
