Started car, got a half block away and heard a knock from engine then a thick white smoke from exhaust. I should mention that there was three extra liters of oil on accident.

Hello,

This sounds to me like you might have blown a head gasket. If you had three extra liters of oil in your vehicle's engine the excessive oil pressure probably blow out your head gasket at an oil galley, taking enough of it to allow coolant to enter a cylinder. I have included some links down below.

Please go through them and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
