whistling sound after it has warmed up, it sounds like it is coming from air filter area?

It is steady hi pitched. does not change when throttling up. can't seem to locate the problem. OBD plug in will not let me jump it. does nothing. why?

I may have found the issue due to reading other posts... I checked all vacuum lines and found one that was detached and plugged. i do not know what it belonged on... the hose was dry and therefore the plug cracked it... I cut a small amount off and re-plugged. noise seemed to quiet down. will know more today. Thanks, and i will use that link as well to do some more research.

I have seen bad intake manifolds (cracked) cause the noise as well FYI.
