Whistling noise when accelerating with the A/C on

There's a really annoying noise that accompanies my engine noise while accelerating with A/C on. The noise almost sounds like someone blowing through a straw. It doesn’t happen every time I drive with the A/C on. But it sounded when I left my A/C running for about 20 minutes and started driving.

Hi,

As the temperature under the hood of the vehicle increases, pressure on the A/C system increases and it isn't uncommon for the compressor to make noise.

Does it seem to only happen when extremely hot or after sitting idle for an extended period which would increase the under-hood temperature?

Also, is it loud enough to record and upload for me to hear? It may help me pinpoint what is happening.
