Whining steering noise?

When I turn left my steering makes a whining noise. When I turn right there no noise. There’s no clicking or knocking noises only whining noise. I don’t have a power steering fluid compartment either it’s electric

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? that way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. Most of the time it will be the electrical steering rack which are a common failure in these vehicles. There is no power steering fluid or pump on the this vehicle. FYI. Ken

Thanks for the video, yep this is a electric steering problem. It sounds like the steering rack needs to be replaced which is common.
