I need to know what type of cylinder heads I have. When I buy parts for my car, I am asked what type cylinder head I have. It's either DOHC or OHV. Also, it specifies either VIN: S or VIN: 2.

Hi,

There are actually three different engines for this vehicle. It could have an S, U, or a 2.

To determine what engine you have, count 8 digits from the left to right of the VIN. That will give you the engine code.

If you look at the pic below, it identifies each code and the engine it indicates.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe
