Where is Trunk Pin/Switch Located?

HI, could you please help me locate the Tailgate Open pin/Switch that senses when the trunk is opened?

9/10 times when I open the trunk, the vehicle/alarm does not sense it. It thinks the trunk is still closed.
I suspect a faulty/stuck pin switch, but for the life of me I cannot locate it anywhere around the trunk!

If you guys have any schematics of this, please let me know.

The switch is at the latch. You would need to remove the door panel to get at it.
