I need to replace my thermostat I know how but I can't find the diagram for the car listed above with the letter K as its 5 letter on VIN number. I need a labeled diagram for that type of engine. And I need to know where to drain my coolant. I know where to put it in but not drain it I dislike foreign cars I'm use to Chevrolet, lol.

Hi,

I'm not sure what the K refers to. There are 4 possible 2.0L engine codes for this vehicle. See pic 1 below.

To locate the code, first check for a label on the timing belt cover. If the label is gone, there should be a label under the spare tire in the trunk. If that is gone, there is a casting number below the alternator. Check to see if that helps.

Please keep in mind, the variations really shouldn't change the block design.

Let me know what you find and what I can do to help.

Take care,

Joe
