Where is the coolant temperature sending unit location?

By the dash temperature gauge truck looks like it is running hot, but it isn't tested it with a temperature gun and it seems to be running fine I suspect coolant temperature sending unit but don't know where it is. Can you help me?

Sure, they call it a cylinder head temperature sensor and it looks like it is located at the rear of the cylinder head on the passenger's side. Convenient right? Check out the images below for a diagram of the location. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
