Where is the fuel filter located exactly?

Car cuts out and sputters, I'm sure the problem is in the fuel filter.

Hello,

The fuel filter is located under the rear seat in a compartment above the fuel tank. Also, there is a strainer located at the bottom of the fuel pump in the tank.

Keep in mind that the engine can sputter due to not getting proper spark or having vacuum leaks.
