I am trying to locate the crankshaft sensor on my car. I know it will be somewhere over the flywheel housing. The engine is a 0.6 liter petrol. It is the 450 City Passion model. I have been unable to obtain a workshop manual for this vehicle - hence this question here.

Hi,

This vehicle wasn't offered in the US in 2002. I tried going to newer model years, but nothing starts until 2005 for me and they are all diesel engine vehicles.

If you are unable to find it near the crankshaft pulley, check along the side of the engine block at crankshaft height. Also, I've seen CKP sensors mounted at the rear of the engine and triggered by the flywheel.

I wish I had more info. Let me know if you are able to find it.

Take care,

Joe
